The Milwaukee Millers, behind a great outing from Jay Davis, who leads the TML with a 8.7 K/9 rate, defeated the Bloomington Blazers, 2-0, at The Mandalore Complex. At 70-89, the Millers find themselves in 6th place in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division.

The Millers benefited from an error in the bottom of the sixth inning. Milwaukee was leading 1-0 when Pat Lewis hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Milwaukee in front, 2-0.

"Watch and learn," said Lewis. "This is what good pitching looks like."
