The Carrollton Rangers manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the Barbados Revenge. The Rangers were overpowered by Barbados starter Jesus Lopez, who hurled his club to victory, 7-0.

"It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," Hung-chang Chao said.

Over 9 innings, Lopez blanked Carrollton on 3 hits with 4 walks and 12 strikeouts.

"I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Lopez said.

"I set them up, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one."

This season, Lopez has compiled a 5-1 mark, 4.50 ERA and made 8 starts.
