The Seattle Sasquatch withstood a fine game by Pennsylvania left fielder Jarrod Conter at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium, to upend the Butterflies, 8-5. Conter went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. Nate Wesson closed it out for Seattle, earning his 27th save. Seattle is now 62-97. Pennsylvania is 75-84.

The Butterflies had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Sasquatch going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 22-year old left fielder Freddy Salgado came to the plate. Salgado hit a 2-run double on a 2-2 slider from Pennsylvania hurler Mike Lanham. It was Salgado's 6th double of the year.

"We're going through a bad spell," said Pennsylvania manager Aaron Barnes.
