The Quebec Armada defeated the Chicago Eclipse, 7-1, at Millennium Field. Quebec was led by 24-year old shortstop Fernando Puente, who was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The 'W' lifts Quebec's record to 77-80.

With Quebec leading 2-0 in the top of the third, Puente hit a changeup from Joe McKnight for a 3-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Armada ahead, 5-0.
