Storm Topple Nutcrackers with Late Rally
The Wichita Storm scooped up a win at The Nutcracker Suite, dumping the Normal Nutcrackers, 7-2. Danny Mejia was essential to his team's success. Mike Herrera earned the save for Wichita, his 1st. The Nutcrackers drop to 14-18 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2066 season.

Juan Reyes came through with a big-time hit for Wichita. The pinch hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I was able to change speeds effectively tonight," said Mejia.
