Getting a good performance from left fielder Joel Gonzales, the Normal Nutcrackers defeated the Wichita Storm, 8-2. Gonzales went 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Nutcrackers. The winner was Takashi Suzuki in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Danny Serna took the loss.
