Lagunas King of Fling with No-Hitter
Bloomington is abuzz in the wake of a masterful no-hitter by Jorge Lagunas.

The 25-year-old hurler was dominating against the Montreal Mounties, leading the Blazers to a 4-0 win at Arson Arena today.

"I could tell early on that it was going to be a long day for us," Montreal manager Julián Martínez said afterward. "He made us look real bad. He was that good. And still going strong at the end of the game."

Lagunas had 13 strikeouts and gave up 1 walk en route to the no-hitter.

"Yeah, this was a special day for me," Lagunas said. "I had my good stuff and good movement. Good location, too. Even when I made a mistake, I got away with it today."

Lagunas has made 25 starts, tossed 185.1 innings, struck out 238 batters and walked 53. His record is 11-10 with a 3.79 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .236 batting average.
