Rangers Handle Manchester, Snag 3-1 Win
Carrollton took on Manchester in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. Mario Huerta, in particular, was fantastic. The Carrollton right-hander helped his team snag the win, 3-1. Getting the save was Antonio Garcia, his 3rd. Carrollton goes to 19-13.

The Rangers got a big at-bat from first baseman Juan Hernandez. For the game, Hernandez went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Carrollton a 3-1 lead.

"We busted our tails," said Manchester manager Javier Rodriguez. "But we came up short."
