Butterflies Squelch Texans Offense in Shutout Win
The Pennsylvania Butterflies picked up a win at Metroplex Park, knocking off the Dallas Texans, 4-0. Starting pitcher Nick Leicht played a key role in the triumph. The Roberto Clemente League Mike Brouillette Division-leading Butterflies have a record of 90-66.

Pennsylvania used a clutch at-bat from Bobby Shaw to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Butterflies ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Clutch hitting plus clutch pitching usually equals a win," said Shaw.
