Eclipse Bridle Pharaohs, 4-2
|
Dan Moran knocked in all 4 runs for the Chicago Eclipse, helping them beat the Cairo Pharaohs, 4-2. Oscar Zegarra earned save number 23 this season. Chicago raised its record to 85-70 with the win.
Moran had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 3-0 cutter from Zion Dennison, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Eclipse a 4-1 lead. It was the 16th home run of the year for Moran.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Cairo skipper Johnny Vallance, "and it cost us."
