At "The Fort" at B.C. Place, the Bloomington Blazers and Vancouver Pioneers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Vancouver Pioneers met little resistance from the Bloomington Blazers, beating them, 11-2, at "The Fort" at B.C. Place. Steve Molyneaux led the way. He went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for Vancouver. John Crowther got the win, improving to 10-9. He worked 5 innings, giving up 1 run on 6 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 4.
