The Hawaii Honu knocked off the Bighorn Bison, 5-2, in Roberto Clemente League action at Ram Brewery Ballpark. Hawaii pitcher and Shreveport, Louisiana, native Chris Sweeney had an outstanding performance. Joe Fleury earned the save for Hawaii, his 22nd of the year. The third-place Bison now sit at 81-74.

Hawaii used a well-timed hit by Ramon Torres to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Honu ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Torres said in reaction to the win.
