Walnut Creek turned a good effort from starter Jose Arana into a win over the Manhattan Slice at Castlerock Field. The Warriors won the game, 7-2. The Warriors raised their record to 63-91.
Right Fielder Travis Hudak made an impact for Walnut Creek, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Elliott Mann in the bottom of the fourth. For the contest, Hudak was 2-5 with a double.
"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Arana.
