The Brooklyn Cyclones outclassed the Manchester Mooses, 10-1, at The Lava Flow. Sandy Santos, who leads the RR in bases on balls with 37, was a major contributor for Brooklyn. Santos was 4 for 4 with 4 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Matthew Witt, who is tied for 10th in the RR in quality starts with 2, was the winner. He's now 4-3. The loser was Antony Aitcheson. The Cyclones, now 17-8, have been on a roll in the early going.
Manny de la Cruz had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the fifth for Brooklyn. With the bases loaded and the Cyclones leading 2-1, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
