The Oconto Falls Timbers defeated the Savannah Peaches, 8-4, in part because of left fielder Miguel Calderon. Calderon was 2-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Timbers. Oconto Falls pitcher Jose Gomez got the win, upping his record to 1-2. Jose Atilano got the loss. Oconto Falls goes to 10-14.

Daniel Garcia had a big bases-clearing triple for the Timbers in the top of the sixth inning. With Oconto Falls leading 4-3 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Hideto Miyamoto and swatted a triple to center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Timbers ahead, 7-3.

"We came out with clear minds and swung the bats well," said Oconto Falls manager Jian-guo Yang.
