Pioneers Earn Clutch Win, 5-4
The Buffalo Bison could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Chris Courtney into a win. Instead, the Vancouver Pioneers prevailed, 5-4. Courtney threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Vancouver reliever Cameron Calder picked up the win, upping his record to 8-2. Bobby Milleville took the loss. The Pioneers improved their record to 81-71 with the win over Buffalo.

Steve Molyneaux was the walk-off hero for Vancouver. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Pioneers second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was rockin'," Molyneaux said.
