Quebec left fielder John Bramante had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 9-3, to Bloomington at Lucky 7 Ballpark. Bramante was 2-2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Victor Ramirez, the winning pitcher, improved to 5-6. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 5 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 4. Oscar Lopez earned the save for Bloomington, his 2nd.

Harry Cronin's at-bat in the top of the sixth was significant, coming with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the game tied, 2-2. The Bloomington center fielder hit a 2-run single off Ray Brummet to put the Blazers up.

"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Cronin told the Bloomington Times.

With the victory, the Blazers upped their record to 87-65.
