Thanks in large part to first baseman Santos Arenas, the Syracuse Orange Sox beat the Barbados Revenge, 7-5. Arenas went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Alex de Jesus closed out the game, earning his 1st save. The loss drops Barbados to 18-9.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Edgar Nunez? The Syracuse third baseman had a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Orange Sox on top, 7-5. For the game, Nunez had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
