The Chicago Eclipse cut down the Cabo San Lucas Toreros by the score of 8-7 in 10 innings. Much of the credit went to right fielder Sean Martineau. Martineau was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Eclipse. The winner in relief was Oscar Zegarra. He is now 4-5. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. The win gives Chicago a season record of 40-35.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Chicago left fielder Jim Bolger, facing Victor Gonzalez, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Eclipse the 8-7 win.
