Brian Carr was instrumental in his team's 6-3 triumph over the Seattle Sasquatch. The second baseman went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Eureka Hornets. Harley Lowrie, who went 8 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 9 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 6. His record now stands at 9-4. Matt Acrey picked up his 23rd save of the season.

With Eureka leading 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth, Carr hit a sinker from Jason Sanders for a 2-run home run. It was his 18th home run of the season and put the Hornets ahead, 6-3.
