The 2064 season is going from bad to worse for Wichita.

R.J. Romero had a hand in Rosewell defeating Wichita by the score of 8-0. Romero went 1 for 2 at the plate, scoring 1 times and driving in 2 runs. Andy Rodriguez earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 4 innings. He upped his record to 2-0. Xiao-xuan Ow closed the game out for Rosewell, earning his 1st save.

Marco Fernandez was 1-4 with a hit by pitch for Rosewell. The 17-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch off Miguel Ambriz. It was his 21st RBI of the season.

"We're learning some lessons in the school of hard knocks," philosophized losing manager Daniel Carrasco.

Wichita, now 2-22, has gotten off to a terrible start.
