Bison 8-4 Winners Over El Paso
The Bison grabbed a win, 8-4, at The Corral, overcoming a fine effort from El Paso pitcher Edwin Serna. Serna went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. Bighorn reliever Jeff Pritchard picked up the win, upping his record to 3-5. Eric Reichel absorbed the loss. The 5th-place Bison improved to 70-82.

Bighorn used the timely hitting of Cody Ley to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bison on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Ley.
