The Quebec Armada bombarded the Vancouver Pioneers, 13-2, at "The Fort" at B.C. Place. Leading the blitz was Vince Walker. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for Quebec. Quebec pitcher Bruce Gaulton earned the win, hiking his record to 4-7. John Crowther suffered the loss. Quebec is now 33-42. Vancouver is 35-40.

With Quebec leading 2-0 in the top of the sixth, Walker hit a sinker from John Crowther for a 2-run home run. It was his 18th home run of the season and put the Armada ahead, 4-0.

Vancouver manager Jesús Morán summed up his team's performance in one word: "Pitiful."
