Mitch Delagrange led Vancouver to a win over Buffalo. The final score was 10-3. The right fielder collected 3 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs and 1 double. John Crowther was the winner. He's now 12-10. The loser was 23-year old left-handed pitcher Dave Wenzel. Vancouver currently is in third place in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division at 80-71.

With Vancouver leading 3-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Delagrange hit a slider from Josh Swopes for a 3-run home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Pioneers ahead, 6-1.

"That was not our best effort," said Buffalo skipper Jon Green.
