The 2066 season is going from bad to worse for Caribbean.

Led by Bob Pascucci, the Syracuse Orange Sox downed the Caribbean Commies, 9-5. Pascucci went 1 for 3 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for the Orange Sox. The loss makes Caribbean 1-22.

Syracuse used the timely hitting of Alexis Barajas to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Orange Sox on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Everyone's kind of edgy right now," said losing manager , "but nothing a couple of wins wouldn't cure."
