The Cabo San Lucas Toreros converted a terrific effort from starter John Koch into a win over the Quebec Armada at Lucky 7 Ballpark. The Toreros won the game by a final score of 6-1. Cabo San Lucas is now 66-84, Quebec 72-78.

The Toreros got a big at-bat from shortstop Ron Mulhollan. For the game, Mulhollan went 2 for 5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. In the top of the first, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 13th home run of the season gave Cabo San Lucas a 1-0 lead.

"John was able to execute his pitches," said Cabo San Lucas manager Labib Sarahani. "Simple as that."
