The 8-4 Seattle win over Manhattan was due in large part to Corbin Betts. The Sasquatch first baseman went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. Mike Hicks earned the win. Tom Clow, who finished 5th in the RCL in wins with 13 last year, took the loss for Manhattan. Seattle is now 59-91, Manhattan 76-74.

Seattle used the clutch hitting of Freddy Salgado to snag the win. The left fielder drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Sasquatch ahead, 6-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

Salgado told a Seattle Herald reporter that he was "very happy" with the win.
