The Cabo San Lucas Toreros did just enough to sneak past the Buffalo Bison, 6-5, at Field de Los Layendas. Cabo San Lucas first baseman Mark Carrozza, in particular, had a standout performance. The Toreros raised their record to 75-74.

Cabo San Lucas right fielder Dennis Allen helped the Toreros go up, 6-5, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Allen hit a run-scoring single off Buffalo pitcher Jake Nulty.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Carrozza said in reaction to the win.
