Romero Rips 2 Home Runs in 19-9 Tribbles Triumph
R.J. Romero added some punch to the Rosewell offense, helping them outmuscle the Victoria Totems, 19-9. In the game, Romero, who is tied for 6th in the TR in runs scored with 29, hit 2 home runs, while scoring 4 times and driving in 7. Rosewell pitcher Jerry Nuncio got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Juan Vela got the loss. Rosewell, now 20-3, is setting the league on fire so far.

In the top of the sixth, the Tribbles grabbed the lead when Romero hit his 3rd home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Juan Vela made it 9-7, Rosewell.

"The positive vibes are all around the clubhouse," said Tribbles manager Leonel Alba. "Once you see a player having a good at-bat, that's really contagious."
