Led by Adam Gibson, the Carrollton Rangers downed the Easton Caterpillars, 20-9. Gibson was 2-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 6 for the Rangers. To call the performance of the 2064 Caterpillars disappointing is an understatement.

Carrollton grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Gibson hit a 2-run double off Alexis Castillo. His 3rd double of the season put the Rangers out in front, 7-5.

Afterward, Easton manager Mekonnen Asani said: "Every team has a bad week."
