Kiyomi Arai had a good game, but he could not keep the Montreal Mounties from falling, 11-5, to the Quebec Armada at Lucky 7 Ballpark. The Montreal shortstop went 4-4 with 4 singles and a walk in the loss. The 6th-place Armada now sit at 71-78.

Making an impact for Quebec was left fielder Fred Sersch. Spoon drilled a 2-run double off Sandy Briseno in the bottom of the third. For the game, Sersch went 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Sersch told the Quebec Daily.
