Pilots 6-3 Losers to Bloomington

The Bloomington Blazers picked up a win at Arson Arena, taking down the Jacksonville Pilots, 6-3. Starting pitcher Jay Vincent was a big reason why. Jason Phillips wrapped it up, recording his 39th save. Bloomington raised its record to 85-63 with the win.
Jeremiah Donahoo, who is a 12-time Gold Glove Award winner, helped out the Bloomington cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the catcher went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"I just tried to focus on getting that first guy out every inning," said Vincent.
