Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Savannah Peaches take on the Yuma Varmits.

The Savannah Peaches topped the Yuma Varmits, 9-4, with youngster David Romo playing a key role. Romo went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Peaches in the win. The Varmits are now 6-14.
