Though the conditions were not ideal, the Kansas City Tornadoes and Chicago Eclipse came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

Kansas City shortstop Brian Cranston had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Chicago Eclipse, 15-5. Juan Manzanares notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 3-1.

Patrick Nicolas aided the Kansas City cause with a 2-run single in the top of the fifth. For the game, the pinch hitter went 1 for 3 with a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.
