Popper Stars as Pilots Top Mounties, 12-8
A 6-RBI performance from John Popper, who finished 3rd in the TML in wins above replacement with 6.5 last year, helped the Jacksonville Pilots beat the Montreal Mounties, 12-8. The 'W' lifts Jacksonville's record to 46-40.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Pilots grabbed the lead when Popper hit his 16th double of the season. The 2-run double off Ryan Martin made it 8-7, Jacksonville.

"Whenever you can come through for your ball club, it's a great thing," said Popper.
