The Dallas Texans weathered an outstanding game by Seattle right fielder Ozzie Ruiz to topple the Sasquatch, 8-6. Ruiz was 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI. Dallas reliever Cory Larson snagged the win, upping his record to 2-1. Ward Nielsen shouldered the loss. Dallas, at 58-88, holds down 5th place in the Roberto Clemente League Mike Brouillette Division.

Dave Bedford, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2057 draft, aided the Dallas cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the second baseman went 1-4 with a double.

In postgame comments, Bedford told the Dallas News: "Do people still doubt I give 100 percent?"
