Sabercats Fight for 12-11 Win
Francisco Duran had a good game, but he could not keep the Yuma Varmits from falling, 12-11, to the Sedona Sabercats at The Lair at Sabercat Field. The Yuma shortstop went 5 for 6 with a home run, a double, and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once in the loss. Sedona reliever Steve Lewis picked up the win, raising his record to 1-1. Angelo Elias was tagged with the loss. The Varmits drop to 6-11, as their stumbling start to the 2066 season continues.

Jorge Ramirez was the walk-off hero for Sedona. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Sabercats shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Enough drama for you?" winked Sabercats manager Logan Reid after the game.
