Hartman Socks It to Cougars, Cracks 6 Hits
It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Marvin Hartman -- a 6-hit effort. He went on a rampage at The Back Draft and paced the 28-13 Cyclones win over the Prince George Cougars.

After his dynamite batting performance, the Brooklyn right fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."

His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 6 hits in 7 tries and put his name in the record book. Marvin Hartman was hit by a pitch in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, doubled in the 9th and hit a three-run home run off Joel Cabrera in the 9th.

Hartman is batting .339 with 3 home runs and 18 RBIs this season.
