Lara Goes Distance in Asheville Win
The Asheville Moonshiners scooped up a win at Copps Park, dumping the Manhattan Slice, 8-1. Victor Lara, who is tied for 3rd in the RCL in quality starts with 16, was essential to his team's success. The loss makes Manhattan 68-77.

Lara pitched well for Asheville. The hard-throwing left-hander went the distance, allowing 1 run on 1 hit.

"Victor was pretty good at keeping their guys off-balance," said Asheville manager Baldassario Ardinghi.
