The Cabo San Lucas Toreros overcame a good performance by Asheville third baseman Jeff Poor to knock off Asheville, 9-5, at The Still. Poor went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. B.J. Bichler was the winner. He's now 11-9. The loser was former first round draft pick Jeff Agin. The 4th-place Moonshiners have lost 5 straight games.

Cabo San Lucas relied on the bat of Marcos Rodarte to get the win. The second baseman ripped a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Toreros ahead, 6-2. For the game, Rodarte had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.
