Behind the hitting of Freddy Salgado, the Seattle Sasquatch stopped the Quebec Armada, 7-4. Salgado went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Sasquatch. Nate Wesson earned his 13th save, after closing out the game. Seattle's record now stands at 28-45, placing them 6th in the Roberto Clemente League Mike Brouillette Division.
Corbin Betts went 1-4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Seattle. The 24-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Gilles Bousquet. It was his 20th walk of the season.
"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Sasquatch manager Alim bin Umar. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
