Raines Lifts Gremlins to 11-7 Win
A 6-RBI performance from third baseman Geoff Raines, who is tied for 9th in the RCL in doubles with 41, led the Houghton Gremlins to a win over the Quebec Armada, 11-7. Earning his 1st save of the year was Bobby Gilmore. The Gremlins saw their win-loss record go to 88-55. At the same time, the Armada fell to 68-75.

With Houghton leading 5-1 in the bottom of the sixth, Raines came up to bat against Quebec pitcher Adam Sturm. Raines hit a sinker to center for a grand slam home run. His 18th home run of the season put the Gremlins on top, 9-1.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Raines.
