Blazers Lose By a Run at Huntington Station
Despite a great performance by Bloomington left fielder Lateef Zitouna, the Huntington Station Ramrods defeated the Blazers by the score of 8-7 at Station Center Yard. Zitouna was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Huntington Station reliever Scott Caple was the winner. His record is now 3-0. The losing pitcher was Jarrod Banta. Lance Kennedy got credit for the save for Huntington Station. It was his 37th of the year.

Huntington Station went up, 8-7, on Michio Matsumoto's 24th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Matsumoto hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Bloomington pitcher Jarrod Banta feeling irked.
