The Coronado Islanders topped the The Stinging Larvae, 15-4, with center fielder Luis Fajardo playing a big role. Fajardo went 3-6 with 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the Islanders in the win. To call the performance of the 2064 Larvae disappointing is an understatement.

In the bottom of the sixth, Jon Bailey delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the Coronado third baseman hit a 2-run single, putting the Islanders in front, 15-4.

"We need to step it up, period," said an agitated The Stinging manager Jose Correa.
