Rangers Pull Off Thrilling 4-3 Win in Extras
The Carrollton Rangers wiggled past the Syracuse Orange Sox, 4-3, at Syracuse Fields. The win was highlighted by the performance of Carrollton left fielder Alex Manzo. Carrollton pitcher Junichi Shimabukuro earned the win, hiking his record to 1-0. Gabriel Quezada suffered the loss. Danny Dominguez earned his 1st save, after closing out the game.

Manzo had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a first pitch fastball from Gabriel Quezada, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Rangers a 4-3 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Manzo.

"That's what these guys do," said Rangers manager Hung-chang Chao. "They battle, they fight."

The Orange Sox, 5-9, continue their poor start to the 2064 campaign.
