Campbell Now 1-0 After Beating Toreros
|
Montreal got a first-rate effort from pitcher Chris Campbell, who frustrated Cabo San Lucas hitters en route to a 3-0 Mounties triumph at Field de Los Layendas. Nimulodi Bausi closed it out for his 3rd save. The loss has the Toreros at 0-7.
Campbell scattered 1 hit over 7 innings for the Mounties. With the win, Campbell goes to 1-0 on the year with 8 strikeouts.
"We didn't score," said losing manager Bob Alexander. "That was the problem."
