Manchester picked up a win at Castro Field, bumping off the Caribbean Commies, 8-3. Pitcher Kasey Thompson was a major reason the Mooses emerged victorious. The loss drops the Caribbean record to a disappointing 6-8.

Manchester used a clutch at-bat from Javier Ulibarri to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the second inning to put the Mooses ahead, 5-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Ulibarri.
