Coronado Islanders (9-3) 1 0 0 0 2 0 0 0 0 3 10 1
Totems Upend Islanders, 5-3
Though he had a stellar game, Willie Magana could not prevent his team, the Coronado Islanders, from losing, 5-3, to the Victoria Totems. Magana went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 3 walks. Gabriel Henriquez recorded the save for Victoria, his 2nd of the season. Coronado is 9-3 after the defeat.

Ernesto Mojica had a big 2-run double for the Totems in the top of the fourth inning. With Victoria leading 2-1 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a sinker from 19-year old right-handed pitcher Francisco Cereceres and swatted a double to center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Totems ahead, 4-1.

Victoria manager Senta Nakano called it "a darn good win."
