Rockville Stays Hot with 2-0 Win
|
Billy Regent could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Thunder Bay Lighting lost, dropping a 2-0 decision to the Rockville Rangers at Lightning Grove. Rockville, now 10-3, is setting the league on fire so far.
The Rangers got a big at-bat from second baseman Seth Hughes. For the game, Hughes went 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple. In the top of the second, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Rockville a 1-0 lead.
Hughes attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
