Starting pitcher Victor Molina had a solid game. He was a big reason the Manchester Mooses throttled the Syracuse Orange Sox, 4-2. Jorge Garcia picked up the save for Manchester, his 2nd of the year. With the win, Manchester lifts its record to 6-7.

Javy Cotto, who is tied for 5th in the RR in home runs with 5, took Syracuse hurler Danny Porras deep in the bottom of the third. His 2-run home run put the Mooses on top, 2-1. In all, Cotto had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
