Revenge Defeat Cyclones in 13
The Barbados Revenge defeated the Brooklyn Cyclones, 9-8, in 13 innings. Much of the credit belonged to left fielder Alex Sanchez, who was 3-5 with 2 doubles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times for the Revenge. Ivan Polanco claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record stands at 1-0. The win puts Barbados at 9-4.

Barbados used the timely hitting of Mario Frausto to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 13th inning to put the Revenge on top, 9-8. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We earned that one," said Frausto.
