The Montreal Mounties torpedoed the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners at Ozark Mountain Stadium. The final score was 6-1, Montreal. Mark Edwards went 2-for-3 for the winning team. Eddie Galloza, who is tied for 9th in the TML with a 4.50 ERA, was the winner. He's now 13-7. The loser was David Baxley. The loss makes Eagle Rock 55-86.
Montreal used the hitting of Chris Elliott to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Mounties on top, 2-0. For the game, Elliott had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
