The 11-8 Brooklyn win over Barbados was due largely to Sandy Santos. The Cyclones left fielder went 1 for 2 with 3 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Brooklyn reliever Manny Ramos got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Pablo Marquez was tagged with the loss. Jose Acuna earned the save for Brooklyn, his 2nd.

Shane Rabuse hit a 2-run double off Pablo Marquez in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Cyclones in front, 10-8. In addition to the double, Rabuse had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.

"If you were looking for a pitchers' duel," said Rabuse, "this wasn't it."

The loss drops Barbados to 8-4.
